If you currently use Universal Analytics, you might have noticed an important notification from Google on April 3, 2024. Google has announced that starting from July 1, 2024, it will discontinue API and other services related to Universal Analytics. Here’s a brief overview of the important points and the actions you should consider.

Why is this significant?

For those who rely on Universal Analytics data, it's crucial to export this data from your properties soon. From July 1, 2024, access to the Universal Analytics interface and its API (including read-only access) will be terminated. After this date, any stored data will be permanently erased and cannot be retrieved.

What steps you should take?

If you’re using Hurree, there’s no need to worry. Even post-July 1, 2024, your historic Universal Analytics data will remain securely stored in Hurree. However, it's important to note that the data sources will not update with any new data following this date.

We also recommend sending a snapshot to yourself or your team before 1st July so you don’t lose any UA data.

Should you have any queries or need assistance as the deprecation date approaches, don’t hesitate to reach out to Hurree support. We are here to assist you with any necessary steps.
