We've put together a list of our most commonly used terms in the Hurree platform, and what they mean. Get yourself familiar with these to help you make the most of your account.

___

Admin

  • An admin user can manage all aspects of the account, including billing, connector management, and the ability to add and remove users.

AES-256 Encryption

  • AES-256 (Advanced Encryption Standard - 256-bit) is a highly secure encryption algorithm used to protect sensitive data. It encrypts information using a 256-bit key, making it virtually impossible to crack with brute-force attacks. AES-256 is widely recognized as the industry standard for data security and is used by governments, financial institutions, and security-conscious organizations worldwide. At Hurree, all user data is encrypted using AES-256 to ensure maximum protection both in transit and at rest.

Benchmarker

  • A benchmarker is a quantifiable measurement used to assess the progress and performance of a given target within a company. When setting up a widget on your dashboard, you can set up a specific Benchmarker for that datapoint, highlighting what is considered positive and what is considered negative (as defined by you).

Once turned on and added to your board, the performance of your datapoint will be indicated by a pulsating green or red dot in the top right-hand corner of the individual widget. Users do not need to add a benchmarker to their widget.

At the bottom of your dashboard, you will see a benchmarker key highlighting the total number of positive, negative, and intermediate widgets.

Connector

  • Connectors serve as the means by which you gather the specific data points to showcase in a widget. Examples of connectors include Google Analytics, HubSpot, Facebook Ads, and others.

Dashboard

  • Hurree dashboards offer a streamlined overview of all your most important data. They pull key metrics from your favourite tools and display them visually in one space. Your dashboard is completely customisable, with a variety of connector options and data visualisations to choose from.

Data Point

  • A data point is the particular piece of data that you wish to retrieve from your connector and display in a widget on your dashboard.

Data Comparison Status

  • This is the percentage figure contained within a widget that shows a +/—data comparison based on the user's time-date selections.

Entity

  • An entity is a single unique object related to the specific data point you wish to display on your dashboard. For example, when creating a widget, if you select the data point 'Clicks for a specific email,' you will then be asked to choose an entity. In this case, the entity is the specific email.

Riva

  • Riva is Hurree's intuitive AI functionality. Currently, you can use Riva to summarize your dashboards and get smart suggestions on how to improve. However, this feature is continuing to develop, with new features added regularly.

Snapshot

  • A snapshot is a screengrab of the data on your board at a specific date and time. By clicking the share icon at the top right-hand side of the screen, you can effortlessly share it with anyone through a link, email, or PDF export.

Team Member

  • A team member can view and edit public dashboards and create new ones. However, they do not have access to billing information and cannot connect/disable connectors or add new users to the account.

Widget

  • A widget is the container in which your data points are displayed on your dashboard.
