🧭 Reached your dashboard limit but still need to build more?

Hitting the dashboard limit on your current plan? No worries—create a private dashboard and invite your team to collaborate on the data that matters most.

Private dashboards in Hurree let you control who can view and interact with your insights, giving you the flexibility to manage data access and visibility for specific teams or projects.

🔒 Why Create a Private Dashboard?

  • Manage Visibility: Limit access to sensitive or project-specific data

  • Team Collaboration: Share insights with the right people, without overloading your public dashboard

  • Maximize Plan Limits: Stay within your dashboard limits and still share valuable data

🛠️ How to Create a Private Dashboard in Hurree

Step 1: Start a New Dashboard
From your dashboard view, click Create New Dashboard.

Step 2: Set Your Privacy Preferences
As you name your dashboard, you’ll see an option to set its visibility. Check the box to make it private. If left unchecked, the dashboard will be public by default.

Step 3: Private Dashboard Visibility
Once created, your private dashboard will appear under the Private Dashboards section on the left-hand navigation. Initially, it will be visible only to you.

Step 4: Add Team Members
You can now invite team members to view or edit the dashboard. Select Invite Users and add the team members’ email addresses or select them from the list.

👥 Invite & Tag Users in Private Dashboards

Sharing insights and collaborating on a private dashboard? Here’s how to get your team involved:

Step 1: Invite Team Members
Click Invite Users on your private dashboard and enter their email addresses or select users from your list.

Step 2: Add Comments to Widgets
Click on a widget, select the Add Comment option, and provide any context or insights you want to share with the team.

Step 3: Tag Users
When adding a comment, type “@” followed by the username to tag a specific team member. This helps direct their attention to the comment or data point.

Step 4: Notifications & Preferences
Customize your notification settings to ensure everyone stays updated on dashboard activity and comments.

🔄 Need to Switch to a Public Dashboard?

You can change your private dashboard to a public one at any time. Here’s how:

Step 1: Open Dashboard Settings
Click the three dots in the top-right corner of your private dashboard.

Step 2: Make It Public
Select Make Public from the dropdown menu. This will allow everyone on your account to view and edit the dashboard.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Plan Limits:

    • Starter Pack: 4 public dashboards, 1 private dashboard

    • Professional Pack: 10 public dashboards, 10 private dashboards

  • Private Dashboards: Only those you invite can see and edit the dashboard.

  • No Freemium Access: Private dashboards are unavailable on the Freemium version of Hurree.
