A Widget is a key component of every Dashboard. They are the ones that will contain your most meaningful KPIs and metrics.
How to create a Widget on your Dashboard
Step 1: Add a Widget
On your Dashboard, click the '+ Add Widget' button.
Step 2: Select Widget type
Choose how you want to view your data based on your needs.
Step 3: Choose your Connector
Select the Connector from which you want to display data.
Step 4: Select Datapoint
After selecting your Widget type and Connector, you'll see a selection of compatible data points. Choose one of the available data points within the same category.
Step 5: Add a Widget description
On the Widget settings page, you can now add a description to your Widget.
Use this to explain what the Widget displays or to add extra context for your team.
Step 6: Select Entity
Choose the Entity from which you'd like to collect the data.
Step 7: Configure your Widget
You'll be directed to the Widget configuration screen. Here, you can make specific adjustments to your Widget (note that these changes can only be made once on the Dashboard).
The available configuration options may vary depending on the visualization type or the selected Datapoint.
Step 8: Add additional Widgets (Optional)
If desired, you can add more Widget simultaneously.
Step 9: Finish setup
Once you're satisfied with your Widget setup, you can click Finish.
Your new Widget(s) will now appear on your Dashboard.
🎨 Customise Widget theme colors
You can now customise the theme color of the following Widget types:
Pie Charts
Tables
Single and Multi-Datapoint Line Graphs
Single and Multi-Datapoint Bar Charts
This allows you to align your Dashboard visuals with your brand, make key metrics stand out, or personalise your layout for better readability.
To update the theme color, edit the Widget and look for the Theme Color option during configuration or in the edit view.
Note
Your data will be automatically updated four times daily.
