Below you will find an explanation for errors you may encounter on your Facebook Ads widgets. These errors are uncommon and if you see an error that is not detailed below please get in touch with a member of our team.

An Unknown Error occurred

Explanation: Unfortunately Facebook Ads has experienced an unknown error within their internal system. This could be linked to causes including Facebook Updates, Invalid Authorisation or Facebook’s internal system being down.

How to Solve: Due to the ambiguous nature of this error, we can’t give you specific instructions on how to troubleshoot this issue. Some actions we recommend however include, waiting until the next sync period, double-checking that your login details and permissions haven’t since been changed and contacting our support team directly.

Access Token has Expired

Explanation: An access token is a security credential used to authenticate and authorise the connection between Hurree and your tool. Some tools, such as Facebook Ads can expire after a designated period of time.

How to Solve: In order to re-authenticate your account simply disconnect and reconnect your Facebook Ads connector.

You either do not have permission to access this resource or it has been removed

Explanation: You do not have the necessary permissions to perform the action you have requested. If you previously had permission this may have been revoked by your account admin.

How to Solve: To resolve this issue you will need to contact the admin of the Facebook Ads account and ask them to update your permissions.

This action can only be performed by the manager of your Facebook Ads Account

Explanation: Within Facebook Business Manager there are different levels of permissions and users. To perform the action you have attempted you need to be a manager on the account.

How to solve: You must contact the admin of your Facebook Business Manager account and ask them to update your permissions.

Internal Facebook Ads server error

Explanation: In some instances, Facebook Ads internal server will experience an error which means that Hurree can’t fetch the data you have requested at that specific time.

How to solve: It’s not uncommon for these kinds of errors to occur and unfortunately they are out of our control. The only way to resolve this issue is to wait until the next sync period. If you still see the same error even after the next sync period, please get in touch with Hurree support.
