How to add a DotDigital Connector
Connectors allow you to collect specific data points for display in Widgets. As long as you have an account with the tool you want to connect, you can sync data from that tool into Hurree.
Step 1: Accessing Connectors
Log in to your Hurree account.
Navigate to the Connectors tab on the bottom left-hand side panel.
Step 2: Selecting the Dotdigital Connector
Click on the DotDigital Connector.
A pop-up will appear for the DotDigital Connector.
Keep this pop-up open for the next steps.
Step 3: Logging in to DotDigital
Open DotDigital in a new tab and log in.
Open the user menu in the bottom left corner.
Click Settings.
Click Access.
Click API Users.
Step 5: Creating an API User
Click New User.
DotDigital will generate an email address for the API user. Do not edit this.
Add a description if you want to label or identify the user.
Tiered rate limiting is fine to keep selected.
Copy the auto-generated email address and paste it into the API User Email field in Hurree.
Return to DotDigital, create a password for the API user, copy it, and confirm it.
Make sure the user status is set to Enabled.
Click Save.
Step 6: Connecting DotDigital to Hurree
Return to Hurree and the DotDigital Connector pop-up.
Your API User Email should already be filled.
Paste the API User Password into the password field.
For Region, check your DotDigital URL and identify the region ID (e.g., r1).
Enter only the region ID into the Region field.
Click Connect.
Once connected, the DotDigital Connector will update, and your account will be active.
Step 7: Disconnecting a Connector
To disconnect a Connector, open the Connectors tab in your account settings.
Locate the connected DotDigital account and click Disconnect if needed.
