When setting up a Widget on your dashboard, you will have the option to set up a specific performance indicator. This indicator will set the benchmark for success for each data point and provide at-a-glance visibility of performance when viewing your dashboard.
How to Set Up a Benchmark for Your Widget
Step 1: Create a New Widget
- Begin by creating a new Widget on your dashboard.
Step 2: Select Your Data Connector
- Choose the connector from which you want to display data.
Step 3: Enable the Benchmark Feature
- Toggle the Add Benchmark switch on.
- This will reveal fields where you can input your high and low target values for the selected data point.
Step 4: Set Benchmark Values
- Enter a high target value.
- Enter a low target value.
- Add a value to the green target to indicate what is considered high-performing.
- Add a value to the red target to indicate what is considered low-performing.

Step 5: Save Your Changes
- Once you have set your benchmarks, click Save Changes to save your Widget and the benchmark configuration.
Step 6: View Your Widget
- Your Widget will now display a green, red, or grey dot, based on whether the data meets the benchmark criteria.
