How to Create a Riva AI Summary for a Section of Your Dashboard

Riva AI can now generate insights for specific sections of your dashboard, allowing you to zoom in on exactly what matters. Here’s how to use this feature to get targeted, actionable summaries.

Step 1: Select Your Dashboard

  • Start by opening the dashboard that contains the section you want to summarise.

Step 2: Identify the Section

  • Scroll to the section of the dashboard you want Riva to analyse. To generate summaries for all widgets in that section, hover over the section name.

Note: The section must contain widgets with data. Empty sections will not generate a summary.

Step 3: Click AI Summary

  • Click the AI Summary icon in the top right corner of the section banner. This icon appears above the widget group or report block.

Step 4: Wait for Riva to Generate the Section Summary

  • Once clicked, Riva will begin analysing the data in that section. This may take a few seconds, depending on the complexity and volume of data.

  • Press the space bar to skip the waiting time and view the summary instantly once it’s ready.

Step 5: Choose How to Use the Summary

After Riva generates your section-level summary, you can:

  • Export with PDF – Attach the summary to a PDF export of your dashboard.

  • Copy to Clipboard – Quickly paste it into an email, report, or presentation.

  • Share via Email Snapshot – Include the summary in your dashboard email snapshot.

Step 6: Use Riva Suggests for Data Insights

  • Click the "Riva Suggests" button under the summary to receive data-driven recommendations.

These may include:

  • Enhancing your content strategy

  • Optimising specific campaign metrics

  • Targeted performance suggestions based on the section's data

In the Riva Chatbot, you can also:

  • View follow-up question suggestions

  • Get relevant resource links

  • Access the Hurree Helpdesk directly

Step 7: Customise Tone and Language

You can tailor your summary’s tone and language to suit your audience:

  • Change the tone [Professional (default), Casual, Engaging, or Sassy]

  • Translate into 150+ languages for region-specific communication

Customising tone and language helps ensure your summary reflects your brand voice and meets the needs of different stakeholders.

Step 8: Provide Feedback

  • Use the upvote or downvote icons to rate the AI-generated summary. Your feedback directly supports ongoing improvements to the accuracy and relevance of our summaries.

Important Note

  • You can generate Ten section summaries per section per day

  • Summaries refresh daily at 00:00 UTC

By focusing on specific sections of your dashboards, Riva AI helps you dig deeper, spot trends faster, and make more informed decisions, all with just a few clicks.
