Scheduling a Snapshot in Hurree

Scheduled Snapshots automatically send timestamped views of your Dashboard via email at regular intervals.

Step 1: Access the schedule Snapshot option

  • Click the share button in the top-right corner of your Dashboard.

  • A dropdown menu will appear.

  • Select Schedule Snapshot from the options.

Step 2: Configure the Schedule

  • A pop-up will appear, allowing you to set up your scheduled Snapshot.

  • First, enter a name for your scheduled Snapshot. This helps you easily identify it later.

  • Enter the email addresses of the people who should receive the Snapshot.

  • Next, configure the schedule:

    • Choose the days you want the Snapshot to be sent.

    • Select the frequency (for example, daily, weekly, or monthly).

    • Set the time for delivery.

  • You can also choose any advanced options you'd like to include in your Snapshot:

    • Benchmarks

    • Dashboard Description

    • Widget Description

    • Widget Comments

    • Section Descriptions

    • Widget Annotations

  • If you'd like to send a one-off Snapshot, choose a specific date and time instead of setting a recurring schedule. This is ideal for scheduling a single report in advance without ongoing repeats.

Step 3: Manage scheduled Snapshots

  • You can view and manage any scheduled Snapshot in the same pop-up.

Step 4: Save and activate

  • Once all details are set, click save.

  • The Snapshot will now be sent automatically based on the schedule you've configured.

Step 5: Snapshot History

  • To view all Snapshot that have been sent, click the ellipsis (⋯) icon at the top right corner of your Dashboard.

  • From the dropdown menu, select Snapshot History.

  • You'll now see a list of all Snapshots shared for this Dashboard.

  • The following details are available:

    • Name of the Snapshot

    • Sent to/via (for example, email address or shared link)

    • Date created

    • Views

    • Status

    • Created by

  • You can open a Snapshot by selecting its name.

  • To change the status of a Snapshot, click the ellipsis () icon beside it and choose expire.

By following these steps, you can ensure your team stays up to date with regular Dashboard insights using Hurree's scheduled Snapshots.
