Add a Slack Connector

Connecting the Slack Connector in Hurree

Connecting Slack to Hurree allows you to send Dashboard Snapshots directly to your team in Slack.

Note: This is currently a beta feature and may only be available to selected users. It will be rolled out to all users soon.

Step 1: Open the Share Options

  • Navigate to the Dashboard you want to share

  • Click Share

Step 2: Select Snapshot

  • In the dropdown, select Via Snapshot

  • The Snapshot settings panel will open

Step 3: Choose Slack as a Delivery Option

  • At the top of the panel, you will see three sharing options:

    • Email

    • Link

    • Slack

  • Select Slack

Step 4: Connect to Slack

  • Click Connect to Slack

  • A pop-up will appear prompting you to log in to your Slack account

Step 5: Choose Your Workspace

  • Select the Slack workspace where you want to install the Hurree app

  • This app requires approval from a Slack Admin before it can be used

Step 6: Request Access (If Required)

  • If Admin approval is needed:

    • Add a message explaining why you want to install Hurree

    • Review the app permissions on the right-hand side

    • Click Submit Request

  • If the app has already been approved:

    • You will see an Allow button instead of Submit Request

    • Click Allow to continue

Step 7: Confirm Connection

  • Once completed, you will be redirected back to the Snapshot screen

  • You will now see the option to disconnect Slack if needed

You're All Set

Your Slack Connector is now connected and ready to use.

You can start sending Snapshots directly to Slack from Hurree.
