Can I add Clickable Links to a Rich Text Widget?

Yes, you can. The Rich Text Widget is one of the easiest ways to add context, instructions, and storytelling to your Dashboards, and that now includes clickable hyperlinks. It's a simple way to connect your Dashboard to the wider context around it, without cluttering the space.

How to add a link

Adding a link works just like any other formatting. Highlight the text you want to turn into a link, then apply a hyperlink using the same formatting toolbar you already use for bold, italic, and underline. Paste in your URL, and your text becomes clickable straight away.

Editing or removing a link

Links are easy to manage. You can update or remove any link at any time using the same toolbar, so your Rich Text Widget always points readers to the right place. There's no need to rebuild your Widget or start again.

How your links behave

Every link opens in a new tab, so readers never lose their place on your Dashboard. Your links also stay intact when you share a Dashboard via Snapshot, so the connection travels with your Dashboard wherever it goes.

Whether you're pointing colleagues to a source, linking a client to a campaign, or adding a reference for extra context, clickable links help your Rich Text Widgets do even more for every team that views them.
