As you build dashboards with data from across your tools, you may want to control who has access to them.

In Ep3 of our onboarding series, we'll guide you on making your dashboards either public, accessible to the entire team, or private, viewable only by you and selected individuals.

In Hurree, you can create both public and private dashboards depending on your visibility and collaboration needs.

  • Public Dashboards: Visible and editable by all users in your account.

  • Private Dashboards: Restricted to you and selected users you invite.

Follow these steps to create and manage dashboards:

Step 1: Create a New Dashboard

  1. Click the "Create Dashboard" Button

    • Located on the left-hand side panel of your Hurree platform.

  2. Choose to Start from Scratch or Use a Template

    • For this guide, we’ll create a dashboard from scratch.

Step 2: Select Dashboard Visibility

  • When creating a new dashboard, you will see an option to choose:

    • Public: Visible and editable by all team members.

    • Private: Only visible to you and users you invite.

  • Click to confirm your selection and create the dashboard.

Step 3: Accessing Your Dashboards

  • All dashboards (public or private) are stored in the Dashboard Library on the left-hand panel.

  • Private dashboards will only be visible to you and any invited users.

Step 4: Inviting Users to a Private Dashboard

  1. Open your private dashboard.

  2. Click the ellipsis menu (•••) in the top-right corner.

  3. Select “Invite Users” and enter the email addresses of the people you want to add.

Step 5: Changing Dashboard Visibility

  • To convert a private dashboard into a public one:

    1. Click the ellipsis menu (•••) in the top-right corner.

    2. Select “Make Public” to allow all team members access.

Now that you know how to create and manage dashboards, check out our next guide on using dashboard templates to streamline your workflow!
