How to create a Multi-Connector Widget

Step 1: Add a new Widget

  • Click + Add Widget to begin creating your new Widget.

Step 2: Choose your Widget type

  • Select either a multi-connector bar chart or a line graph to display the data.

Step 3: Select Connectors

  • Choose the two Connectors from which you would like to display data on your Dashboard.

Step 4: Go through the Entity steps

  • For each Connector, you will be guided through the Entity steps to select the relevant data points for comparison.

Step 5: Add a Widget Description

  • On the Widget settings page, you can now add a description to your Widget.
You can use this to explain what the Widget is showing or add extra context for your team.

Step 6: Choose date range

  • In the final step, select the date range from which the data will be pulled.

Step 7: Advanced options

  • In the advanced options, you can customize how your data is displayed. This includes adding dual Y-axes to your graph, making it easier to clearly show data points with different scales.

  • For multi-connector charts, benchmarks cannot be applied, but the median line is still available. The median line is turned on by default to highlight the central value of your data and can be toggled on or off depending on how much context you want to include.

Step 8: finish setup

  • Once you're satisfied with your configuration, you can click finish to add your Widget to the Dashboard.

Note

  • Due to the amount of data being collected, please allow a few minutes for the Widget to load fully.
