If you're experiencing issues with your Facebook widgets, this guide explains the most common errors and how to resolve them.

If you encounter an error that isn't covered below, please contact our support team for assistance.

Your Access Token has expired.

Explanation: Authentication tokens are used to verify the identity of a user or a system. When you connect a tool (for example, Facebook or Google Analytics) to Hurree, you are issued a token that serves as proof of your identity every time you add a datapoint from that tool. With some tools, such as Facebook, these can expire after a designated period and need to be renewed.

How to solve: To reauthenticate your account, disconnect and reconnect your Facebook connector.

You do not have permission to access this metric

Explanation: Your permission to access this metric has not been granted, or it has been removed. To connect to Hurree successfully, you must have full access to your Facebook business account; without the correct permissions, no data can be pulled through to your Hurree platform.

How to solve: Go to your Facebook Account settings, where you can view your permissions and manage your business integrations. If you notice that your permissions have been revoked, please contact your account administrator. Once the required access has been restored, refresh your connection and try retrieving the data again.

Data cannot be loaded due to missing permissions

Explanation: To connect to Hurree successfully, you must have full access to your Facebook business account. If you don't have the correct permissions, you will not be able to pull any data into your Hurree platform.

How to solve: Go to the Facebook Account settings. Here, you can view your permissions and manage your business integrations.

Resource not found

Explanation: The Facebook resource you're trying to access could not be found. This may be because a post has been deleted or archived, because the resource is no longer available, or because you do not have the correct permissions to access that account.

How to solve: Check that the resource still exists in your Facebook account and restore it if it has been archived. It's also worth verifying your account details with your Facebook Page administrator to confirm you have the necessary permissions within Facebook. If the resource has been removed, update your widget settings or select an alternative data source.

Your Facebook login session has expired

Explanation: Your Facebook login session has expired. Authentication tokens are used to verify the identity of a user or a system; when you connect a tool such as Facebook to Hurree, you're issued a token that acts as proof of your identity each time you add a data point from that tool. With some tools, including Facebook, these tokens expire after a designated period and need to be renewed.

How to solve: Disconnect and reconnect Facebook via the Connector tab in Hurree to reauthenticate your account and restore access. Once reconnected, your widgets will begin updating again from the next scheduled sync.

An error occurred with the Facebook API (368)

Explanation: An error occurred with the Facebook API while your request was being processed. This is not caused by any action on your part.

How to solve: No action is required on your side; we'll retry automatically on the next sync. If the error persists after several sync attempts, please contact our support team, and we'll investigate.
