If you're experiencing issues with your Kit widgets, this guide explains the most common errors and how to resolve them. Each error below matches the message you'll see in Hurree.

If you encounter an error that isn't covered below, please contact our support team for assistance.

Your Kit connection could not be verified

Explanation: Your account is not authorised to access this resource. This usually happens when your authorisation has expired, your API key has been regenerated, or access to Hurree has been revoked from within your Kit account.

How to solve: Reconnect your Kit account through Hurree to restore access. Once reconnected, your widgets will begin updating again from the next scheduled sync.

The requested content could not be found

Explanation: The requested content could not be located. This may occur if a form, sequence, tag, or broadcast has been deleted or moved within Kit, or if the reference is incorrect.

How to solve: Review the relevant Kit account and verify that the record or data source still exists. If it has been removed, you may need to update your widget settings or select an alternative data source.

Some of the data provided failed validation

Explanation: One or more values provided in the request are not valid. This usually means a setting or value being sent to Kit isn't in the format Kit expects.

How to solve: Review your integration settings for any incorrect entries and try again. If the error persists, please contact our support team for assistance.

You've reached the Kit API limit

Explanation: Your account has reached the maximum number of requests permitted within a given period. This is usually triggered when you request a large volume of data at once.

How to solve: Wait a moment before trying again; your access will resume automatically once the rate limit window resets. If you see this error frequently, consider reducing the number of Kit widgets refreshing at the same time.

Kit internal server error

Explanation: An unexpected error occurred on Kit's servers. This is not caused by any action on your part, and as the issue originates within Kit's infrastructure, it is outside of our control.

How to solve: Internal server errors are typically temporary and often resolve automatically. Wait a moment and try again, or check your widget after the next scheduled sync period. If the error persists after multiple sync attempts, please contact our support team for assistance.

Other Request Errors

Explanation: You may occasionally see 400: Bad Request. This indicates that one or more elements of the request sent to Kit were invalid or incorrectly formatted; these are typically handled automatically and are rarely caused by anything on your side.

How to solve: Review your integration settings for any incorrect entries and try again. If this error persists, please contact our support team with the error name you're seeing, and we'll investigate.
