Understanding AppFigures Errors in Hurree

Troubleshoot AppFigures integration errors in Hurree. Not for general AppFigures issues.

If you're experiencing issues with your AppFigures widgets, this guide explains the most common errors and how to resolve them.

If you encounter an error that isn't covered below, please get in touch with our support team for assistance.

Your AppFigures connection could not be verified

Explanation: The credentials used to connect your AppFigures account are missing, incorrect, or no longer valid, preventing your widgets from retrieving updated data.

How to solve: Reconnect your AppFigures account through Hurree using valid credentials for the account you want to report on. If the issue continues after reconnecting, please contact our support team for assistance.

You do not have permission to access this resource

Explanation: Your connected AppFigures user does not have permission to access the requested resource. AppFigures may also return this error when an account is locked, including for an unpaid balance, or when API access has been disabled.

How to solve: Check the connected user's access to the relevant app or report, and review any account or billing notices in AppFigures. Ask your administrator to restore the necessary access. If API access has been disabled, contact AppFigures support; if access appears correct but the widget still fails, please contact our support team.

The requested resource could not be found

Explanation: The requested AppFigures resource could not be found. It may no longer exist, the reference may be incorrect, or the connected user may not have access to the product. A 404 does not always mean that an app has been deleted.

How to solve: Check that the app or product referenced by your widget exists and is accessible to the AppFigures user connected to Hurree. Update your widget settings if the reference has changed, or ask your administrator to review product access.

You've reached your daily API limit

Explanation: You have exceeded the number of AppFigures API requests allowed for the day. This is a daily quota, so repeated attempts will not restore access before it resets.

How to solve: Wait until the daily limit resets before trying again. If this happens regularly, please contact our support team so we can review request volume across your AppFigures widgets.

You've reached the AppFigures API limit

Explanation: AppFigures documents this response as a limit on review translations, with restrictions on translation frequency and total characters. It is separate from the daily API request limit reported as 420.

How to solve: If you are requesting translated reviews, wait for the applicable limit to reset or review your translation allowance with AppFigures. If this appears on a Hurree reporting widget that does not request review translations, please contact our support team so we can check the response rather than assuming that the daily API quota has been reached.

AppFigures internal server error

Explanation: An unexpected error occurred while AppFigures was processing the request. This is a server-side error rather than a problem with your login credentials.

How to solve: Wait a moment and try again, or check your widget after the next scheduled sync period. If the error persists after multiple sync attempts, please contact our support team for assistance.

AppFigures is undergoing maintenance

Explanation: The AppFigures API is temporarily unavailable due to maintenance.

How to solve: Wait a few minutes before trying again, or check your widget after the next scheduled sync period. If the error persists for an extended period, please contact our support team.

Other Request Errors

Explanation: One or more parameters sent to AppFigures were incorrect or invalid. This can prevent the requested report from being processed.

How to solve: Review your integration and widget settings, including the selected product and date range, and try again. If the error persists, please contact our support team with the error message you're seeing.
