Tips & Tricks: Track Your Snapshot Reports with Snapshot History

Written by Sorcha McVeigh

Ever wondered if your manager opened that report you sent? With Hurree’s Snapshot History, you don’t need to guess. It gives you complete visibility into who receives your Snapshots, when they are delivered, and whether they are viewed, and it's now the home for managing your scheduled snapshots, too.

🔎 What Is Snapshot History?

Snapshot History is your go-to place to check the performance of your shared Dashboards. It’s like a digital paper trail, ideal for staying on top of your reporting and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

You can:

  • See exactly when a snapshot was sent

  • Track who received it

  • Monitor the view activity

  • Manage the status of shared snapshots

  • Edit or delete your Scheduled Snapshots - all from one place

  • View snapshots that have been shared with you directly from your Hurree homepage

🧭 How to Check Snapshot History in Hurree

Step 1: Open the Right Dashboard

  • You can just head to the Dashboards section and click into the dashboard you want to review.

Step 2: Access the Snapshot History

  • Click the three dots (•••) in the top-right corner of your Dashboard.

  • From the dropdown menu, choose Snapshot History.

Step 3: Review Snapshot Activity

Here you’ll find a list of all Snapshots sent from that Dashboard, including:

  • The date and time each was sent

  • The delivery method (e.g., email, link)

  • View counts – how many people opened it

  • The sender’s name (so you know who sent what)

Scheduled Snapshots - your upcoming automated Snapshots, shown in the second table. This is where you manage anything that hasn't been sent yet.

Step 4: Take Action If Needed

For sent Snapshots, click on one to:

  • Preview what was sent

  • Check status (active or expired)

  • Manually expire a snapshot to prevent further views

For Scheduled Snapshots, you can:

  • Edit the Snapshot to update its name, recipients, send time, or advanced options

  • Delete a schedule you no longer need

No more setting and forgetting - if your reporting needs change, you can adjust everything without rebuilding the Snapshot from scratch.

🗣️ Ask our Riva AI Assistant:

  • “Who received the last snapshot I sent?”

  • “How can I see if someone opened a dashboard snapshot?”

  • "Where do I edit or cancel a scheduled snapshot?"

  • “Can I expire a snapshot after sending it?”

✅ Pro Tip:

Use Snapshot History to follow up strategically. If someone hasn’t viewed the snapshot, you can resend it or tag them in a comment to ensure it gets noticed.

With Snapshot History, you’ll never be left wondering if your insights are sitting unopened in someone’s inbox. Stay informed, stay in control.
