Connectors are tools that let you pull specific data points into Hurree. With Duplicate Connectors, you can connect multiple accounts for the same platform without needing to recreate them each time, making reporting across clients or dashboards much faster and easier.
Important: When duplicating a Connector, be aware that disconnecting the original account may cause all associated Widget to error. Reconnecting the account will not automatically restore them; you will need to delete and re-add each affected Widget.
Adding a Duplicate Connector through the Connectors tab
Step 1: Log in to your Hurree account
Start by logging in to your Hurree account from your preferred browser.
Step 2: Open the Connectors tab
Select the Connector icon in the bottom left-hand corner of your Hurree screen.
This will open a page that shows all the Connectors available in Hurree.
Step 3: Find the Connector you want to duplicate
Use the search bar to locate the Connector you want to duplicate. Once found, click on it to open a pop-up with all the information for that Connector.
Step 4: Access the Accounts tab
In the Connector pop-up, select the Accounts tab. Here you will see all accounts currently connected to this Connector.
To add a new account, click the blue Add New Account button.
Step 5: Connect your additional account
How you add the account depends on the type of Connector:
Option 1 – Login-based Connectors
A pop-up will appear prompting you to log in to your additional account. Follow the steps to authenticate and connect.
Option 2 – API-based Connectors
For API Connectors, an authentication window will appear asking you to enter your API key. Paste the key in the pop-up to connect your account.
Step 6: Finalize your duplicate Connector
Once connected, your second account will appear in the Accounts tab. You can also edit the name and description for each account to make them easier to distinguish.
Your Duplicate Connector is now ready, and you can use it across multiple dashboards and Widgets without having to recreate it.
Note: The account verification process may vary slightly depending on the specific Connector.
