More on Project Management & e-commerce Errors:
If you're experiencing issues with your Google Sheets widgets, this guide explains the most common errors and how to resolve them. Each error below matches the message you'll see in Hurree.
If you encounter an error that isn't covered below, please contact our support team for assistance.
Your Google Sheets connection could not be verified
Explanation: Your account is not authorised to access this resource. This usually happens when your Google authorisation has expired, your password has been changed, or Hurree's access has been revoked from within your Google Account.
How to solve: Disconnect Google Sheets in Hurree, then remove Hurree from the connected third-party apps in your Google Account settings. Once removed, reconnect your Google Sheets account through Hurree to restore access. Completing all three steps ensures a fresh authorisation is granted.
There's an issue with your Google billing details
Explanation: Your Google account requires a valid payment method before this request can be completed. Google restricts API access when an account has outstanding billing issues.
How to solve: Update your billing details in your Google Account settings and make sure there are no outstanding payments. Once your billing information has been corrected, refresh your connection in Hurree and try again.
You do not have permission to access this resource
Explanation: Your account does not have the permissions required to access this resource. This can occur if not all requested permissions were approved when the integration was set up, or if the spreadsheet has been shared with restricted access.
How to solve: Confirm that all requested permissions were approved during setup, and check that the spreadsheet is shared with the Google account you connected to Hurree. If access is managed by someone else, contact your account administrator to review access levels, then refresh your connection and try again.
The requested content could not be found
Explanation: The requested content could not be located. This may occur if a spreadsheet has been deleted or moved, or if an individual sheet tab has been renamed or removed since the widget was created.
How to solve: Open the relevant spreadsheet in Google Sheets and verify that it still exists and that the sheet tab and cell range referenced by your widget are unchanged. If anything has been renamed or removed, update your widget settings or select an alternative data source.
This request conflicts with an existing item
Explanation: The request could not be completed because it conflicts with an existing item in your account. This typically happens when the same data is being updated in two places at once, or when duplicate entries already exist.
How to solve: Review your Google Sheets data for duplicate or conflicting entries, then try again. If the conflict continues, please contact our support team for assistance.
This resource has been permanently deleted
Explanation: The requested resource has been permanently deleted and is no longer accessible. Unlike a 404, this confirms the item existed previously but cannot be recovered.
How to solve: Remove any references to the deleted spreadsheet or sheet from your widget settings and point them to an active data source instead. If you believe the file was deleted in error, check the trash in your Google Drive or contact your administrator.
You've reached the Google Sheets API limit
Explanation: Your account has reached the maximum number of requests permitted within a given period. Google Sheets applies its quotas per user over short windows, so this is most often triggered when a large volume of data is requested at once.
How to solve: Wait a moment before trying again; your access will resume automatically once the rate limit window resets. If you see this error frequently, consider reducing the number of Google Sheets widgets refreshing at the same time.
Google Sheets internal server error
Explanation: An unexpected error occurred on Google's servers. This is not caused by any action on your part, and as the issue originates within Google's infrastructure, it is outside of our control.
How to solve: Internal server errors are typically temporary and often resolve automatically. Wait a moment and try again, or check your widget after the next scheduled sync period. If the error persists after multiple sync attempts, please contact our support team for assistance.
This action is not supported by Google Sheets
Explanation: The requested operation isn't currently supported by Google Sheets. This usually means the data or functionality you're looking for isn't available to external integrations.
How to solve: No action is required on your side. If you believe this feature should be available, please contact our support team, and we'll advise on alternative approaches.
Google Sheets is temporarily unavailable
Explanation: Google Sheets is currently unavailable, most often due to maintenance or an unexpected outage on their side. This is typically a transient issue.
How to solve: Wait a few minutes and try again. Your widgets will update automatically once Google Sheets is back online. If the outage appears to be prolonged, you can check the Google Workspace status dashboard for updates.
Other Request Errors
Explanation: You may occasionally see 400: Bad Request, 405: Request Method Not Supported, 412: Request Condition Not Met, 413: Request Too Large, 417: Request Expectation Not Met, or 428: Missing Precondition. These indicate that something about the request sent to Google Sheets was invalid, incorrectly formatted, too large, or missing a required condition; they are typically handled automatically and are rarely caused by anything on your side.
How to solve: Review your integration settings for any incorrect entries and try again. If any of these errors persist, please contact our support team with the error name you're seeing, and we'll investigate.
